BEWARE OF SWIMMING IN THE SEA (UK).

Due to extreme temperature rises caused by Global warming, it is envisaged within the next few decades, new species of fish or organisms will arrive at our shores.
These new species usually live in temperatures above 20C, most are harmless but some are deadly.
The south coast of Britain is likely to see these organisms first, sea temperatures over 20C have been reported in our summer heat waves around this coastal area.

One such organism is called “Vibrio vulnificus” which can infect open wounds etc.
Symptoms after such contact include blood poisoning and fasciitis a "flesh eating effect" causing tissue to rot.
The organism is deadly enough to kill and 50% of people infected will possible die.

Another possible not so deadly organism called “Ostreopsis ovata” can cause diarrhoea, rashes and sore irritations, the organism is already close by and new to the Mediterranean area.

Climate changes are also affecting dangerous fish to move location nearer to the UK coast.

New species of fish with infectious stings that can cause paralysis and other unpleasant conditions, could possibly be soon.
